Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in an excellent game for beginning level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the house, unlike most other poker games that gamblers play with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players do not have to be concerned about other, more experienced individuals winning their cash.
One more Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game pace, beginners should be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make quick selections.
It’s also much simpler to participate in for a long time with just a small bit of money since, to lose, each of your hands has to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards face up and the dealer receives seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
