In Advance of a Tilt

Ah, the poker tilt. If a poker enthusiast states never to have stared faced over the barrel of a looming tilt – they’re either telling a lie or they haven’t been playing very long. After all we are assumingly (almost all of us) playing poker for a single purpose – to make money, it certainly makes sense that we would wager appropriately to maximize profits. Now let us say you are up one hundred dollars off of a 100 dollars deposit, and you suffer a huge blow in a No Limits game and your stack is at $120. You’ve burned eighty dollars in a hand where you were assured to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and enjoyed a 10 – 1 edge. And that fiend! He banged you out on the river? – Well stop right here. This is a classic opportunity for a new player to begin tilting. They basically lost too much cash on one hand that they should have won and they are agitated
