Pot Odds: This is the ratio of how large of a bet you must call to the size of the pot. If you are clearly behind in a hand but your opponent wagers one dollar at a $100 pot. It can be worth risking 1 additional dollar to see the subsequent card that may win you a hundred. But say your opponent wager $120 at $100 pot, and you don’t have a hand, it isn’t worth calling one hundred and twenty dollars to see the up coming card.
